How do you navigate the ebbs and flows of life?
The world will tell you to rely on your own strength, your own power, your own wisdom, to weather life’s storms and reach your desired destination.
But if you’re anything like me, perhaps you’ve wandered off course and been shipwrecked one too many times before, when the only compass you have to rely on is your own.
Sometimes we have to learn the hard way.
Self-reliance, romantic relationships, personal development, career recognition, and financial success — the things we’ve always been taught to chase, were never going to fill that God-sized hole in our hearts.
And it shakes our very foundation when we realize that we don’t have all the answers, that we can’t do it all on our own — that the radius of what lies within our control isn’t actually the safe harbor we thought it was, after all.
But we don’t have to look far for the peace, the hope, the joy that we’ve been searching for all along.
My journey has never been linear, but it has always been part of a beautiful story of grace and mercy. I’d love to share mine, if you’d like to stay awhile.
